Our premium, West German Show Line German Shepherds have been raised in my fenced-in yard on several acres on the bench of Haleakala. They are part of the family and eat the highest quality home-cooked, whole food. They are exercised multiple times per day, along with short training sessions. They spend the rest of the day with the family. They have matured beautifully into gorgeous young adults. They have passed all of their veterinary exams, and were bred together.

To bring the best quality German Shepherds to Hawaii, I worked very closely with Julie Martinez of Mittlewest German Shepherds, the top breeder of world class German shepherds in the U.S., according to Verein für Deutsche Schäferhunde (SV), (in English, German Shepherd Association) 17 years consecutively. She is an AKC Breeder of Merit. I have known her for more than twenty years, and have bought four German Shepherds from her, including my beloved Ava.
She analyzed her numerous sires and dames and selected two litters whose DNA, breeding history, and confirmation were of the highest quality to produce puppies that were meant to be bred together.
She personally selected a male, Ransom Falko vom Mittelwest, from one litter and a female, Optima Augusta vom Mittelwest, from another. She had twenty litters to choose from and those are the two puppies that she promised would have the best chance of producing world class puppies for Hawaii.
She said that Falko’s “conformation is as good as anything she has ever produced in her career. It is perfect, and extraordinary.” She called Gussie “jaw dropping.”
